ÿþDating back to its origins in 1969, the Adidas Alerts adidas Superstar has long been a multi-faceted sneaker. While birthed with basketball flowing through its DNA, the hertiage-based silhouette developed into a shoe with no boundaries, capturing all genres with an aesthetic now known to be timeless and far-reaching. For its 45th anniversary in 2015, adidas teamed up with Ateliers Heschung, a family run factory who manufactured shoes for adidas France in the 1970s.
The outcome is the Consortium Superstar "Made in France." Adorned in premium leather, the upper is stitched to the shoes foundational component, the rubber toe cap, while monochrome black leather maneuvers through the paneled Three Stripes and tongue graphics. The adidas Superstar Made in France' will be available Adidas All Star starting December 12th at selected Consortium retailers globally.BAPE and UNDFTD are two established streetwear staples that turned heads last year by teaming up atop the adidas ZX 5000 and Campus 80s.
The last two Superstar collabs round out the set with original Adidas Alphabounce Consortium partners D-Mop and Foot Patrol. First up is the D-Mop edition, crafted by the Hong Kong retailer in premium white leather with red embroidery and blue suede detailing, and also featuring numerical codes stitched on the outer heel that reference significant dates and numbers to D-Mop. which presents the iconic shelltoe sneaker in a premium terracotta croc-embossed leather with Foot Patrol branding at each heel.

This Saturday, December 21st, will see the minty green sneakers get a global release at select adidas Consortium accounts, although the full retailer list hasn't yet been disclosed. The 1992 Torsion Integral S is a model that's been hanging out in relative obscurity since its debut, but we'd expect that to change if the Three Stripes teams continue to bring these sort of pairs to the table.
